A Very Tasty Begining...

"Autumn Love"
This flamin' orange flower covered cake was made for my sisters' garden wedding in september of 2007. It expressed both her natural love of fall colors and gerbera daisies... I loved this one!

"Katie's Princess Cake"

I made this cake in August 2007 for my cousins wedding. She is very into glitz and glam. This fondant covered fairy dusted cake very much so described her, tiara and all!!

"Grandma Edna's Amish Bread Basket"

This cake was made a couple weeks ago for my great grandmother who passed away October 10th. It was made as a tribute to who she was and what she did for all the people she loved. Her famous amish bread was set in a basket shaped cake covered in pink roses... (her favorite flower) I truly hated eating this cake, however it was beautiful and I"m sure she looked down loving it!

"Fit for a little Princess"

Correctly titled for it's little princess. This mini cake was made a few months ago for a sweet little girls first birthday. She was given her own special "smash" cake to destroy and play or eat for herself!

"Signature Ganache"

Oddly enough this cake was an accident and has now become a favorite!! This is a double chocolate cake iced in chocolate ganache and glazed with a raspberry brandy sauce. And to top it off more chocolate and raspberries.... YUM!!!

"Fall Maple Cake"

This is a classis white cake with maple buttercream frosting. Topped off with seasonal leaves and chopped pecans. Perfect for any fall occassion!

"Larger Sheet Cake"

"THE Pirate Ship"

This cake was for a special little boy with a pirate themed birthday party. The ship itself was pound cake covered in buttercream and modeling chocolate panels painted for a "wood like" look. The ladders, waves, and gold in the treasure chest are made of modeling chocolate. The base cake was half chocolate and half classic white iced in blue buttercre am. Decorated with buttercream rocks and brown sugar sand. 99% edible!! A wonderful memory and sooooo much fun to make!! I"ll never forget this cake.

"Kiddie Cake"
Another accidental cake... I needed to frost a traditional white cake and decorate it along with a few others for a cake tasting. My mother and fiance suggested using some little candies and making it "kid" themed. It turned out great and I didnt come home with any of it!!

And as always more cakes to come...!!!!!!

"You dream it I"ll make it"
