Just a few happy birthdays....

Well I could go through and explain every cake but WOW that would take forever! So just look at the pictures they explain themselves. They're all Happy Birthdays of some sort. Some cupcake cakes and some regular sheet cakes, enjoy!

The one and only Ben 10

I did not know Ben 10 until this cake. Ben 10 is an awesome guy, he's a cartoon that turns into aliens and well fights things I guess.... I still don't know too much about him but I do know how to make him into a cake! He's got his aliens and his much needed watch that allows him to transform into these creatures! The base was a white cake with green and yellow buttercream. And the last and perfect touch was his spectacular fondant watch! Go Ben 10!!!

Happy Birthday Dawn~!

I truly believe that all Grandma's deserve a gorgeous basket cake! This beautiful cake was made for my best friends Grandmother. Grandma Dawn was turning 80 and this needed to be a very memorable birthday! I got the wonderful opportunity to make the cakes for her surprise birthday party! The basket was made of her favorite red velvet cake and covered in white buttercream. Fresh flowers and a pretty red fondant handle topped it all off! I made a cheesecake as well because something needed to say Happy Birthday and who doesn't want 2 birthday cakes anyway?Especially when it's cheesecake! Well Happy Birthday Grandma Dawn I hope the cakes were as good as they looked!

Welcome Mya and Tate!

These precious baby cakes were for Desert Springs. They were made to welcome baby Tate and Baby Mya. They both were created with white cake and covered in whipped cream frosting. I went a little "out of the box" with these. I didnt want the traditional baby shower cake so they were made to look like they had confetti tossed all over the tops! Or just silly cakes that I felt like making... Either way they were adorable!

A Croc of a Cake

This cake was a BLAST!!!! It makes my week to be able to make cakes like this one. This chocolate cake covered in chocolate buttercream was for a man leaving for Australia, so the best cake for a going away party would be an Aussie Croc! Fluffy blue buttercream for the ocean and sea plants a pretty green. Mr Crocodile himself was assembled of pound cake and various colors of fondant, he even had fondant teeth! I deemed him Alfred, only because any good Croc Cake needs a name. Thanks Alfred it was truly a pleasure.

"Little Baby Booties"
A yummy 10" white cake with white buttercream. Baby blue writing and borders for little baby Xavier on the way. The cute little booties are made out of chocolate cupcakes and covered in more blue buttercream! I hope they loved it as much as I did. Congratulations Mommy to be Kristen!!

"A Birthday cake can be a Valentines Day cake too right?"

This cake was a blast!!! A little hard to come up with an idea... but hey it's almost Valentines Day so I figured it can be both a Valentines day cake and A birthday cake! After a late night trip for flowers I finally got the cake done. A really tasty lemon cake with lemon buttercream.... I have a feeling it was really good, I didnt want to see this one go... So pretty. Happy Birthday all you guys and Happy Valentines Day too!

It's easy to get caught up in cake and forget about the pictures!

"Cupcakes Inside a Cake"
Isnt that how it originally started anyway?
Agreed it's confusing...But oh well!! If that's what the people want, then that's what they'll get! 15 marble cupcakes covered in chocolate buttercream, pink borders, and pretty pink and yellow flowers to top it all off. Iced all together to make a sweet little cake for a sweet little girl. This being the first of many cupcake cakes to come. So congrats Sara for being the first on the site!
